According to polls, 66% of all the New Year’s resolutions made in the country are associated with weight loss and improving one’s health. This is followed by finances and financial status, then family and friends. People are wanting to lose weight and live healthier lives. There’s no surprise there. We all know that there are several benefits to losing weight: 

  • You feel better

  • You look better

  • Your overall health improves

  • You have greater resistance to illnesses

  • You have more energy and

  • Your mood and attitude improve

With all these benefits, why is it that we have such a high fail rate when it comes to our own health? Two of the most common reasons why people abandon their New Year’s resolutions are that they claim not to have enough time or “it’s too difficult.” Those are the two most frequently used excuses as to why people abandon their goals to live and eat healthier. What is even more interesting (or alarming as it were)...
